My Fosters
These are some of the pets that I have fostered in the time that I have worked for the humane society. All are very special to me. I don't have pictures of all of them.
Kirby - Retriever/Collie Mix. He'd been found running the streets and no owner claimed him. He was adopted into a great home and is loved and cherished by his new owner!

Maui (now
Sammy) - Corgi/Sheltie Mix. He'd been found running around the street
near our shelter, no one claimed him. He was adopted into a
wonderful home and I still get to see him at the local dog park! He liked to
sleep on the back of my sofa and never fell off.

Sadie
- German Shepherd Dog. She'd been abandoned along with her
litter of 6 young puppies. She was adopted into a
loving home as a companion for a single woman. Sadie was very small for a GSD,
and a very ladylike girl.
Taylor
- Australian Shepherd Mix. She was pulled from a nearby shelter that
was full. She was adopted by a nice couple who live in Indiana.
Shadow - Black German Shepherd Dog. She was pulled from another shelter where she'd been surrendered by owners. Her crime? She had been impregnated by her own sire on her first heat. I fostered her as she had a respiratory infection and had her spayed. Once that was done she was back in good health and was adopted soon after. She was almost a keeper!
Jake
- Mini Australian Shepherd. He was surrendered by his owner when they
were having a baby and had no time for him. He was definitely a high energy boy!
He was adopted and returned due to that fact. Finally, he was adopted again.

Simon
- Keeshond mix. He was part of a litter that we took in
in exchange for spaying their mom. The first picture was taken when I had him, the
rest are of him in his new home. He was adopted into a very loving family and I
still get updates on him!
Sloopy (right) and Dusty (left)
- Terrier mixes. We
thought they were Beagle/Terrier mixes and figured they'd be about 40 lbs as
adults. Wrong! A coworker adopted Dusty (now named Max) and he's over 80 lbs!
Their litter survived parvo - didn't lose a single puppy!
Skye
- Keeshond mix. Rescued from Union County Humane Society along with Farrah (below). She
reminded me alot of my Spirit - she was nearly a keeper but was adopted out.
Farrah -
Terrier mix. Rescued from Union County Humane
Society along with Skye (above). She was so raggedy looking, but was just
adorable and it didn't take her long to be adopted.
Misty
This litter (Misty, Miles, and Magick) was found by my neighbors in their shed. Mom is a black cat and I have been unable to trap her. I have had them since they were 2 weeks old. There was four, but one did not thrive.
Miles
Named Miles because he resembles my mom's dog, Miles.
Magick
She is a devilish little kitten, always on the move and looking for trouble!
River Wolf
I pulled this little guy from the Licking County Animal Shelter. I think he's about 7-8 months old and very goofy! He's a typical GSD puppy! He rode very well for me the whole way to the local dog wash where I bathed and killed his fleas. Sadly, River was sent to the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, October 16. He had hypothyroidism and mega esophagus. He was not holding food down and was slowly wasting away. The decision was made to let him go and be at peace. Be free, sweet boy....
Ember - a mostly German Shepherd puppy, 4 months old. She was going to be put down at a shelter because she had kennel cough. I "adopted" her and treated her for kennel cough. She is a super puppy and should be adopted quickly!

Cozie Shyloh - an adult Shiloh Shepherd or German
Shepherd. I had found her as a free to good home dog and had her spayed. She was
adopted by a wonderful family who had a puppy. She has done fabulous in her new
home and they love her very much - her name was changed to Shiloh.

Spitfire (brown tiger female top pics), Solstice (grey
tiger female middle pic) and Sabbath (dark brown tiger male bottom pics). They
are about 5 weeks old here in the pictures. They were strays along with their
mom, sadly she was put to sleep due to illness.

Isis - found as a stray at 6 weeks so I took her home for
2 weeks to get her socialized so she could then go up for adoption. She's very
cute and I have no idea what mix she is, maybe she's a Keeshond mix - she
reminds me of Spirit. I would bet she will be adopted pretty quickly!
